Diseases

We provide treatment for a variety of thoracic diseases including lung cancer, pleural mesothelioma, metastatic lung cancer, pneumothorax, mediastinal tumors, myasthenia gravis, and even diseases for lung transplantation. In addition, taking advantage of the university hospital, we also perform genetic analysis, a hot topic these days, with the approval of the Ethics Committee if the patient gives his or her consent. Especially in lung cancer, it has been shown that Iressa and Tarceva are significantly effective in patients with mutations of the human epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene, which has a significant impact on tailor-made treatment of lung cancer. We believe that our mission is to provide satisfactory treatment to our patients.

Research

We have made numerous conference presentations and academic papers from the “Molecular Oncology and Therapeutics Group” and the "Lung Transplantation Research Group". We work hard every day to show them how important it is to develop a positive attitude toward research.
